Terms of Service

Agreement with ZEFT INC.
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and ZEFT INC., a New York domestic business corporation (DOS ID 7987053) (“Zeft,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Zeft, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Platform role2. Accounts3. Estimates and booking4. Payment5. Haulers6. Photos and content7. Disclaimers8. Disputes and law

The price shown before booking includes applicable service and platform fees. Any separate tax, optional tip, or separately accepted adjustment is shown before authorization.

1. Zeft’s role

Zeft operates a technology marketplace that connects customers with independent junk-removal providers (“Haulers”). Unless a screen expressly says otherwise, Haulers are independent businesses and not employees or agents of Zeft. Zeft provides estimation, matching, scheduling, communication, tracking, payment and operational tools; the Hauler performs transportation, handling and disposal.

Availability depends on geography, time, materials, licensing and a verified Hauler accepting the job. A displayed service area or estimate is not a promise that a Hauler is available.

2. Eligibility, accounts and electronic records

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
  • Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized use.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for having authority to request removal from the property.
  • You consent to receive transaction records, notices and signatures electronically. Marketing communications remain optional and can be disabled.
  • We may suspend accounts for fraud, unsafe conduct, illegal dumping, payment abuse, harassment, off-platform circumvention or material violation of these Terms.

3. Photos, estimates, booking and changes at arrival

Zeft estimates volume, material and price from the photos and details you submit. You must show the complete load and disclose stairs, access limits, heavy or regulated material and anything that may affect safe performance. Automated analysis can make mistakes; review the recognized items, quantities and load expectation before booking.

The price accepted at booking covers the confirmed scope. If the Hauler finds a material difference at arrival, the Hauler may document it and propose a new price in Zeft. No different price is accepted or charged merely because the Hauler proposes it. You may approve the proposal, proceed only with the originally confirmed scope, or decline the changed scope before loading. Emergency, prohibited or unsafe conditions may require cancellation.

Pickup windows are estimates affected by traffic, access, weather and prior jobs. Live tracking communicates progress but is not a guaranteed arrival time.

4. Payment, adjustments, cancellation and refunds

Payment services are provided by Stripe. A payment method may be saved with Stripe for later Zeft jobs. Zeft does not store full card numbers. The app tells you the amount before you authorize it. Charges, authorizations, captures, refunds and Hauler payouts follow the job status and the payment screen shown to you.

Any optional tip is voluntary. Taxes, disposal charges and disclosed access charges may apply where shown. Cancellation, no-show, waiting or trip fees apply only if their amount or method of calculation is disclosed before confirmation or separately accepted. Contact [email protected] promptly about an incorrect charge. Statutory consumer rights are not limited.

5. Customer responsibilities and prohibited material

You must not tender hazardous, illegal, explosive, infectious or regulated material unless Zeft expressly lists and accepts it for that job. Do not include weapons, controlled substances, cash, confidential records or property you do not own or have authority to dispose of. You must provide safe, lawful access and disclose conditions that could injure people or property.

6. Additional Hauler terms

Haulers must maintain all licenses, registrations, insurance, vehicle authority and disposal permissions required where they operate; provide truthful documents; use lawful facilities; preserve receipts and required evidence; follow safety rules; and comply with tax and independent-business obligations. Verification is not a permanent guarantee, and Zeft may re-review or suspend access.

Haulers see the offered payout before acceptance. Stripe Connect may require a separate Stripe account and acceptance of the applicable Stripe Connected Account Agreement. When Haulers provide personal data for payment services, Stripe processes it under Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Customers and Haulers may not use information obtained through Zeft to evade agreed platform charges, solicit an introduced party off-platform for the same job, misuse contact/location data, or interfere with another user’s account.

7. Photos, evidence, reviews and licenses

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Zeft a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, redact and display it only as needed to operate, secure, support and document the service, resolve disputes, comply with law and improve Zeft as described in the Privacy Policy.

Public marketing use is separate and optional. If you opt in, Zeft may use eligible privacy-reviewed completed-job material until you withdraw permission in My Profile. Uploading a photo alone is not marketing consent. Zeft removes precise location metadata and identifying details before approved publication. Reviews must reflect genuine experience and may not be manipulated or conditioned on positive sentiment.

8. Third-party services and intellectual property

Zeft may rely on contracted providers for payments, maps, hosting, storage, communications, analytics, identity and image analysis. Their services may have additional terms. Zeft names, software, designs and trademarks belong to ZEFT INC. or its licensors; no rights are granted except the limited right to use the service under these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and limits

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEFT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AN ERROR-FREE ESTIMATE, CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY, A PARTICULAR HAULER, OR THE CONDUCT OF AN INDEPENDENT HAULER OR CUSTOMER. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEFT INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ZEFT INC.’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE PLATFORM FEES PAID TO ZEFT FOR THE AFFECTED JOB. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to Zeft’s fraud, willful misconduct or obligations that cannot be limited.

10. Governing law, disputes and changes

Contact support first so we can investigate. These Terms are governed by New York law, without regard to conflict rules. Unless applicable law requires another forum, claims may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Richmond County, New York, and the parties consent to that jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a right to participate in a class proceeding.

We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be presented in the service or sent to the account contact and may require renewed acceptance. The version accepted by an account is recorded. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
